Markie had surgery February 28. In the course of Markie's surgery she had a stroke. This left Markie unable to speak or move the right side of her body. She started theropy in the hospital. The doctors decided to send Markie home hopeing it would help her recovery. Since the family left the hospital Markie has started talking and walking. She is slowly getting the ability to move her right arm and hand. She is a strong and determined little girl and with the help of her family has overcome alot. Please continue to pray for Markie and her family.

Hello to everyone!  Sorry it has taken me so long to up date..  Markie is doing wonderful.  It has been 2 months since the surgery and she is running and talking more now than ever..  HA HA!  We had the poker run Yesterday and it was a great day..  Markie got to ride from our house to the bar on the back of a bike.  Me and dad rode behide her very nervous but we did it.  We had 54 bikes ride for her.  We are so thankful for our friends and families for the love and support through all of this.  Kayla and Erica are amazing they are holding steady straight A's.  Kayla won a speech contest call the tropicana speech contest and she came in 1st place.  We go to state competition this wed and we hope for her to win but she always wins in our eyes she is such a wonderful big sister who never thinks of herself.  Her speech was about what Markie has gone through and is still going through.  Our next project is to sell our 9 boxer pups we have oh what an experience that was.  Markie loves her puppies if we could we would keep all of them for her but they are a hand full.  Markie is still not using her right hand but will if she has to the hand she can't control but it will come..  We are going tomorrow to sign up for kindergarden.  She is really excited to go to school so I will be in the back in my own little deck..  Well, I'm going to go for now but I promise to update quicker next time..  We will be putting pics from the ride on as soon as we can..  Take care and God bless

Hello to all !! Sorry it has been so long since we have updated..  We have been really busy running around between 6th grade graduation, end of the year parties, church camp for one and the other will be going soon, and of course running behind Markie.  HA HA !!  Well, she is doing wonderful and things are going really well for her. A local resturant had a car show for her on the 4th of June and that was a really good day. One of our good friends cut hair for donations for Markie and a lady cut of about 12 inches off her hair to donate to locks of love which we thought that was really cool..  Well, we go the 16th of June for her next MRI so please keep us in your prayer and thoughts that day she will do wonderful it's really just mom and dad who have a hard time with the whole day.  We should find out as soon as she's done but hopefully they don't make us wait..  Well, Markie has been swimming alot and trying to get her balance back she is a little unsteady at times and in the water she is unsure.  She is trying to keep up with her big sisters and there ain't nothing she can't at least try nothing slows her down.  She is wonderful and we are enjoying eveyday that God blesses her with us.  We are very greatful for her.  As soon as I can get someone to up date the pics we will sorry the old ones are still there  but we are trying.. Well, I promise I will up date next thursday with the news so take care and God bless..
